Amelie Hone - Kenya Expedition 2023
Hello. I am grateful for any support you can give to help me raise funds for my community support trip to Kenya this month, with Camps International and Weydon School, to help the families in the community where we are staying.
I have a stall at the show selling bags of sweets! Also come and have a go at the 'Splat-The-Rat' game, perhaps buy a small item of bric-a-brac or grab yourself a nice cold water. I also have VEGAN sweets!
Animals Asia
A toy stall with excellent quality pre-loved toys donated by supporters to our charity, Animals Asia, Surrey & Hampshire Borders group. The toys will mostly be pocket money prices but as they are pre-loved, they will be terrific value. The gazebo will be a walk-in area where children and parents can enter to play with the toys and, if they wish, buy them.
Archie Warren and Friends
Hi, I’m Archie and I, and some friends from Weydon school, will be setting off on an adventure of a lifetime, to Kenya, at the end of year 10 (July 2023). For the majority of our trip, we will be working on community support projects, such as helping to build much needed schools and other community infrastructure.
All proceeds from our stall at The Bourne Show will support with some last-minute fundraising activities to pay for a portion of our trip.
The stall will include some fun games and activities, along with selling home-made cakes and pre-loved homewares and clothing (reduce, reuse, recycle!!).

Camps International
I am extremely lucky to have the option to go to Kenya this summer, through Camps International, supported by Weydon School. I am raising money to help with the travel costs for this trip. Farnham & Bourne Choral Society
We have been making choral music in Farnham for almost 100 years. We are a mature 4-part choir singing a wide and varied repertoire under the guidance of our excellent musical director Ben de Souza. We are always keen to recruit new voices (especially tenors). Why not come along and meet some of us on 1st July.
Farnham Assist
Farnham Assist is a local Christian charity that offers support to around 200 older people living alone within the Farnham area. We provide regular social activities, roast lunches, one off events and day trips as a way of addressing loneliness and isolation. We believe that people living in their twilight years should continue to live life to the full and have the opportunity of making new friends! All of our activities are free or at cost price only to ensure that finances are not a barrier to anyone. We offer a friendly welcome and our current programme will be available on our stall.
Farnham Beekeepers
Farnham Beekeepers Association aims to support and encourage the craft of beekeeping. We are keen that everyone should be well informed about bees and their importance to the environment. We provide courses on beekeeping and practical help and advice through our apiary, we visit schools and other societies to give talks, often bringing one of our observation hives in the summer season.
Farnham Dog Training Society
Farnham Dog Training Society has been registered with the Kennel Club for over 50 years. We are a friendly, not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers working to support and guide owners and turn their pooches into happy, well-behaved companions. We run 10-week courses from beginners to intermediate, and offer handlers the opportunity to enter the Kennel Club Good Citizens Dog Scheme from puppy foundation through to the Gold assessment. Our training team, with a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor at the head, are knowledgeable and experienced and would love to meet you and your dogs. Please pop along to meet us

Furry Tails Farnham
Somewhere with shade, some natural dog treats (small things), water (somewhere nearer a refill point?). Was thinking about asking a local dog trainer to help out - so another professional that can help, and perhaps suggest tips if needed - have to ask her. But she would certainly be another 'doggie safe' pair of hands, my partner is also an experienced dog walker and will help too. Dog refreshments free of charge.

Greyhound Lifeline
We are a small independent greyhound rehoming charity made up of volunteers. At the show we will have various dog equipment for sale including homemade dog biscuits and a tombola. We will have plenty of greyhounds with us waiting to give their cuddles to the public! Look forward to meeting you all.

The Farnham Society
We are the town's Civic Society. Founded in 1911, our mission is to champion the heritage of Farnham, a fine market town with splendid conservation areas and green spaces. Our town can boast fine buildings and architecture. We seek to engage with the local authorities over the developments taking place around the town, and to campaign for good design, which will enhance rather than detract from the environment. To promote interest, we participate with Farnham Town Council in the annual Heritage Open Days, to showcase important parts of Farnham. Come and meet us and find out more.

Weydon Kenya Fundraiser
Selling handmade bracelets that will help fundraise for my school trip to Kenya this coming Summer where I will be partaking in a number of volunteer projects such as building classrooms and deworming goats.
Will and George for Phyllis Tuckwell
Will and George (U17 Bourne Blades) have taken on a year of fundraising for Phyllis Tuckwell and aim to raise £5,000. So far they have completed a gruelling day and night 45 mile race in the Brecon Beacons and have Will have completed a Skydive. They have other challenges ahead. Please support them in their fundraising for an amazing local charity. They will be asking you to guess the total marbles in the jar. Children’s prize is a teddy bear and the adult prize is pizza and wine for 2 at The Spotted Cow.
